Scuba Diving

We are a dive club and our members usually schedule dives on the weekend. You can find these dives via our app.

Equipment You Need

For scuba diving, you will require the following:

  • Mask
    • Ensure it has tempered glass
    • Good Fit
  • Fins
    • For scuba diving, not snorkelling fins!
    • Recommended strap fins
  • Boots
    • If required for the fins, as recommended
  • Wetsuit
    • 5mm recommended for all-year round diving
    • 3mm or less can be used in the summer for protection

We have partnered with local dive shops in Mauritius for discounts, please ask the Equipment Officer for more information.

Equipment Rental

We have equipment for rent at the following prices:

  • BC – 200 RS per day
  • Regulator Set – 200 RS per day
  • Cylinder – 250 RS per cylinder (inc. air – please ask for Nitrox if required)
  • Computer – 100 RS per day
  • Weights & Weightbelts – Free

If required, this can be organised through the Equipment Officer.

Safety Equipment & Ancillaries

We have safety equipment available for those times when diving takes place outside of ‘normal’ dive centre activities – for example, utilising different boats, going to different dive sites, etc.

  • Emergency Oxygen Kit
  • First Aid Kit
  • Oxygen Analyser
  • Handheld GPS w/ dive sites
  • A-Flag & Pole

Dive Centres

In order to offer more diving throughout the week, we are also partnered with diving centres in Mauritius. All dive equipment is available to rent at these centres. Spaces are available as and when appropriate.
